Hey mate, I’m not confident this is required, I have been printing with my mmu for almost a year with the same spring tension without issue. Two full rotations past flush with top casing if memory serves me correctly.
At mine this has often been an issue :) i have not tried the changes as i dont know how to integrate something of the PRs :)
but i often had problems with the tension, especially when beginning, and the needed tensioning even changed with the weather (could not believe of this myself, a change of 5-7°C room temperature made a change on how good the filament loaded through MMU) and i have seen this - i thought - an indicator, especially in combination with your comms-protocol to the LCD would be greatly helpful :D
