The docs state that the most recent supported API is 1.37.

According to docker's release history, that corresponds to engine 18.05. The release notes for that version show it to have been released on 2018-04-25 (roughly five years ago 😮).

I'm using docker engine 24 and I'm worried of compatibility issues.

I'm using the latest tagged version of tecnativa/docker-socket-proxy:0.1.1 (i.e. "latest"), because we need that for stability and reproducibility (just good sysadmin practice).

I note that there is lots of activity on this repo, but only one tagged release. Any plans to make another release?

That'd be so nice!

Someone ought to fork this project properly.

Seems like only @ZoeyVid created releases in his fork, but aside from their feature implementation and dependency auto-update it wasn't worked on furher.

If there's any incompatibility or you just want to update the foundations, please do a pull request and we will check it.
