Allow running in HTTP (without https)

Describe the feature

Be able to run piped in http, not with ssl.

Why would this be useful to add?

I'm trying to run this without https but through a vpn and with a custom dns. Currently, I can configure everything without https in the config.properties, but the the api calls from the vue frontend still use https.
