What is the feature about?
I would be down to convert the plugin to safari.

Have you considered any downsides of the proposed feature?
Are there any Resources for the apple developer subscription TU-Fast could provide or would that have to be published on an personal account?

Do you know about any technical implications the implementation might have? Do you have any technical suggestions?
it shouldn't be that hard too, as apple provides a porting tool
You can have it use existing source files too:

Is #5 what you are looking for? Only the new updates to the thread are relevant.

Someone started doing something a while back here, but I do not think it can be reused as most of the code changed.

The thing is, it's really easy to convert. It's just a one liner.
Some of the manifest might need updates but that should be it I think.

The biggest "issue" is that in order to distribute your extension you need the 100$/a dev license from Apple.
I know a few people who have it so we could do that via private accounts, but I was thinking if there may be the resources to pay for a official tufast one

But #5 seams to be related. Sorry I somehow missed it :/

Alright. Lets keep the discussion in #5 for now to keep everything at one place.
