Physical quantities should have their unit appended with a _, e.g., f_Hz
Naming should be as "verbose" as possible: e.g., "amplitude" instead of "A"
Filter/Transfer functions are always named "H" and the corresponding impulse response is "h"
(i might have missed some instances in the text)
"k" is our discrete time index
Thoroughly stick to the naming convention from the lecture (to minimize confusion)
