We likely need a Wikimarkup to Markdown converter. Can you look at options for this or if quarto will use Wikimarkup.

working on it. quarto does not play nice with wikimarkup.

• copy & paste new contributor list in contributors.qmd
• in terminal: quarto pandoc --from mediawiki --to markdown contributors.qmd --output contributors.qmd
• should me markdown format now. headings might need manual fixing

I'll update the source to have the headers we want and the additional Programming line, should mean less copy past at end.

It maybe that Quarto allows us to pull in URLs rather then files so we could render direct from the Wiki.

Can you see if Quarto allows you to customise the style to allow for more space after a paragraph, that way we can make the contributor names a little more separate and so easier to read

changed paragraph spaces for contributors and references (per the PDF changes list from TH Köln). added custom class divs to .qmd files and styled in CSS
