First off: looks and/or sequence.

I just saw a lot of stuff about MS-DOS and that made me remember the MultiCo-DOS credits screen that I could use as a really goddamn cool boot sequence!

Light example/stages:

1. Computer turns on and counts the OK rom stuff, like MS-DOS computers do

2. Does some other stuff that I forgot about haha

3. Then the IBM logo happens and then we immediately transition to a form of (still deciding) VAIIYA-DOS or kernel, OR MultiCo-DOS booting into VAIIYA TERMINAL. (Ps, make options in a config file that can disable this very very long sequence for those who don't want to wait haha)

4. The terminal loads as normal and the game can go on haha

That's basic concept. It needs tuning and quite a bit of figuring out for this to be practical or possible at all! (Most likely prompt toolkit to the rescue hahaha)

ALT IDEA FOR EMBARKERS!

I just had a brain fart or brain wave if we made a special specific version of VT that has a cool interruption from the MultiCo-DOS or the VAIIYA kernel thing, that would say,

"Hey! Wanna go into embarker mode?" And past that I have no idea what to add beside a hello hahahah

I have been thinking about transferring to unity for a completely different coding environment.

So that I could change everything and ANYTHING I wanted!

OR I could use the tkinter console-to-window port method, but I'm not sure if that would work.

What it would do though is the console would be its own entire window, separate from the console bunch.

Pretty nice tbh haha

Also I just realized that i need to make a screen clear system that clears the screen of all the text haha

I have decided that making a colour boot sequence with MuCoDOS would be way too hard haha

So I decided that starting with a VAIIYA kernel kinda thing, booting into VT would be a lot better.

Stages:

1. IBM logo stuff (with ibm 5150 haha)

2. VAIIYA kernel starting with its listing of system parts (make a rare chance that it shows ibm 5150 specs haha)

3. Then the VT startup sequence

That's basically it

So, more ideas.

1. Using godot ( ITS PRONOUNCED GO-DOT ) as a 2d game.
   Pros? I got no idea just a stray idea haha

2. Using the tkiner console-to-window idea might be my best win right now. (Though I'm not sure how to test it in VScode as, the startup requests a custom tkiner window. And since I'm using a venv it won't just run raw haha, that is unless I can add a predefined venv request. )

3. Making a multi-file run in the same terminal space. I don't know how to do this or, anything at all as it just might create a new window unless I use pythons subprocess unit.

So asciimatics can make incredibly complex animations with """simple""" code haha

But I am definitely able to make a IBM startup sequence and possibly the MuCoDOS screen as well hehehehe

So I rechecked the pyenv thing and, yes it does support pathed venv files!!! Hahaha!! (With its plugin that you need to install for it to work with the venvs??? Idk how that works but I hope it does)

Also apparently I was just talking with SJ from the discord and he said ppl were talking about VT a while ago!!! That's crazy!!! Hahahaa!!!

Tbh, if I manage to pull off this awesome revamp who knows what will happen! It'll be awesome! Tbh just making the community happy with another project is just awesome. It shows how devoted some players are and may bring vets back hahaha (maybe Rick, but he came back for CNS) and also I just love seeing happy ppl! (Although I thought this project would never make it, it's now occurring to me and blowing my mind that ppl like somthing I've made! And now looking at that might say somthing concerning about me hhahaha)

Alright! So let's get started!!

1. Make a test with asciimatics

2. If it works, make a POF version that ONLY has the loading screen. Make it not auto close as that can be confusing.

After the POF is done, make a full loading sequence and also release that on its own.

Work out everything else afterwards haha
