In order to make the Phonebook more useful for a Broader Range of Applications, there is a need to abstract the JSON Data Source files.

Therefore the following Structure is planned:

This offers numerous benefits:

Multiple Data Sources can be merged
A new Connector can be implemented to incorporate a new Data Source
The Frontend does only need to communicate with one API
Less data is transmitted by using GraphQL

In order to do this these issues are blocking:

Draft an API Spec Draft an OpenAPI Spec for the Middleware - DataSource Connector API #156
Implement the first DataSource Connector: PeopleSource feat(backend): New Backend and authentication for Phonebook data. #7
Implement the Middleware FEATURE: Implement GraphQL Middleware #157
