Extend sensor data - current (amps) and (historical) energy usage (kilwatthours)

The power strip provides also current readings (mA resolution) and historical cumulative energy consumption (kWh). It would be nice to have these also available in HAAS.
I think the consumption reading would be more accurate than integrating the power usage in HAAS due to infrequent sampling and usage fluctuation in between. Where the powerstrip is doing the integration in the metering chip I think.
I am not sure what are the options how to report it to HAAS, whether all the history or just last hour.
