- 1 0.33L bottle of dark beer (Stout, Porter, etc)
- 2 Tablespoons white wine / apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup tart berries (Currants/Johannisbeeren work well)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon molassas
- 1/2 teaspoon smokey paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground mustard (sub with 1/4 cup yellow mustard for oven method)
- 1/4 cup smoky bourbon/mezcal
Simmer 1 hour till thickend
