I'm always frustrated when the birthday card feels static and lacks the celebratory feel that comes with a real-life birthday. Without a birthday song, background animations, or a dynamic image slider, the card doesn’t fully capture the festive and joyful atmosphere of a birthday celebration. These elements are essential to create an engaging and immersive experience for the recipient.

I want to enhance the birthday card by adding a birthday song that automatically plays in the background, introducing animations like confetti or balloons to make the card more lively, and incorporating an image slider in the banner to showcase a series of birthday-themed images. These features will make the card more interactive and visually appealing, creating a more memorable and enjoyable experience for the recipient.

Describe alternatives you've considered

As an alternative, I considered using a static image or GIF in the banner instead of an image slider. However, this wouldn’t offer the same level of interaction or variety as a slider. Another option was to use a simple background with no music or animations, but this wouldn’t provide the engaging and festive feel that I’m aiming for in this project.

Additional context

The birthday card is intended to be shared digitally, and the addition of these interactive elements will help convey the celebratory spirit. I've attached some example images that could be used in the slider and a sample of the birthday song I would like to include. Additionally, the card should be responsive so that it looks great on both desktop and mobile devices.

What problem is this feature trying to solve?

This feature aims to solve the problem of a static and potentially uninspiring digital birthday card by adding interactive and festive elements that align with the celebratory nature of a birthday.

How do we know when the feature is complete?

The feature will be complete when the birthday card successfully plays the background song upon opening, displays smooth background animations like confetti or balloons, and includes a functioning image slider in the banner that transitions between images automatically and/or upon user interaction. Additionally, the card should be tested on various devices to ensure responsiveness and a consistent user experience.
