Hi,

I don't know how full featured your plugin is, but I think you ahve one problem with the syntax highlighting, as you have written it in the comments of your plugin, so there is already a perl plugin, maybe you can write the developer to adapt the code? https://bitbucket.org/sudeephazra/perlonnetbeans/wiki/Home

The source seems private but ask the developer, maybe he can help you or you can help him :)
