Hi! Welcome to the Sooner Competitive Robotics software onboarding. This will guide you through the process of setting up a basic development environment and introduce you to the tools and practices we use in our software development process. The file you are currently reading is the primary markdown file which outlines the onboarding process, feel free to refer back to it at any time.
Hopefully you are reading this alongside me and the rest of the team so we can work through it together, but if not that is okay too! The first thing you will need to do is install the necessary software and tools to get started. Below is a list of the software you will need to install:
- Git
- Visual Studio Code or another code editor of your choice
- Python
Once you have installed these tools, you are ready to move on to Day 1 of the onboarding process.
