** Microsoft Windows **

Steps to follow when doing a release:

- Build all the software (Build All) to get the macros _DATE_ and _TIME_ update it

- Sign the binary digitally
(signtool sign /t http://timestamp.digicert.com /f ../certificat.pfx /p PASSWORD CatalanitzadorPerAlWindows.exe)

- Run all the unit tests (release mode)

- Run the DownloadFilesChecker to check that all the files in the server are correct

- Upload the configuration.xml & the corresponding sha1 signature file to
ftp://ftp.softcatala.org/pub/softcatala/catalanitzador/configuration.xml

- Upload binary & the corresponding sha1 signature file to
ftp://ftp.softcatala.org/pub/softcatala/catalanitzador/

- Upload release notes
www.softcatala.org/wiki/Projectes/Catalanitzador_per_al_Windows/Versio_X.Y

- Make it public at 
http://www.softcatala.org/wiki/Rebost:Catalanitzador_per_al_Windows

- Upload binary to 
https://github.com/Softcatala/CatalanitzadorPerAWindows-binaries/tree/master/releases

- Notify the new version to the development mailing list

- git tag

git tag -m "X.Y.X tag" -a X_Y_X
git push origin X_Y_X

Where X_Y_X is the version published

** Checklist

- Download the CatalanitzadorPerAlWindows.exe from its final location and executed

In the CatalanitzadorPerAlWindows.log you should see this line:

'ConfigurationDownloadThread::OnStart. Remote file same version that the embedded'

Indicating the file embed and the remote configuration.xml are identical.

- Execute the previous version and check that is auto-updated

** Changing configuration.xml **

- Update the <date> field with the modification date of the changes that you are introducing.
Catalanitzador will only use the remote file if its date is newer than the version of the file embed in 
the application.

Run DownloadFilesChecker to help you verify that the changes are correct

- The <version> tag in the compatibility tag section indicates the minimum version of Catalanitzador
needed to support the XML. If you have made changes that break the XML and there are only clients
using this URL increase the version to number to the most recent version to prevent old clients from
using the file.

** Mac OS X **

- Go to Xcode, Product->Archive->Distribute App
- When the 'Select method of distribution' dialog is shown, select 'Custom->Developer ID' (distribution method) and then 'Upload' (to notary service) 
- Create a zip file of the output 'zip -r CatalanitzadorPerAlMac.zip CatalanitzadorPerAlMac.app/'
