Exact stepss to reproduce that? New installation and no packs launched from thirdparty pack pane? Then you cliked thirdparty pack pane's tab and hit launch without selecting pack. Am I guessing right? |
In case anyone else is running into this on the current "stable" release, going into your settings from the FTB launcher is causing this error. I was getting "Unhandled exception in Thread[AWT-EventQueue-0,6,main]: java.lang.NullPointerException" after trying to launch the game. I closed the launcher and reopened it, and if I launched the game without going into the settings tab, I didn't have any issues. |
@csaroff you are the man/woman! Completely fixed the issue by not going into the options tab! |
damn. I have missed notification for in january. Thanks for info that makes debugging easier. (I thought those reports was from first launcher startups) |
Just experienced this for the first time. FTBLaunch version 1.4.14 Build: 10414 The above 'solution' worked for me (starting the game without touching the Settings tab). |
