Equalizer Problem: invalid parameter operation

When I open the equalizer while a song is playing I get this error message:

When no song is playing it seems to work alright.

I'm on a Motorola Moto Z Play
I'm experiencing this behaviour under LineageOS 18.1 (Android 11) and I didn't have time to check if it also happens with stock Android. So feel free to close this issue if you don't want to worry about non-stock ROMs.

This is also not causing me too big troubles (It seems like things continue to work with some valid equalizer settings)
