It's going to be nice to have the option to back up and restore apps configuration. This is extremely useful when changing devices.

A suggestion how it can be probably implemented:

a global backup and restore option part of the commons just as the theming configuration, it will result in a for example single JSON file having keys with the configuration for each individual app and the option to restore by reading it. For both options, they can open a file picker dialog where to save/restore from
