Can't install required dependencies and run the project

Beginner here, I was following the steps given in Shopifys marketplace kit tutorial and I was running into issues with installing the required dependencies, it says could not resolve dependencies, and when I try to run it with shopify app serve it doesn't work. Am I missing something ?

No apparently they didnt want to continue with it for some reason. I ended up building a custom marketplace using next js following a tutorial on YouTube

Sure, here is a link to a 12 hour course that teaches how to build a multi vendor marketplace. However the unlike shopify marketplace its just one single app rather than a separate app for buyer and seller . You'd just have to modify it to match the logic according to Shopifys marketplace
