I think it is because of the new version release.

Peer dependency error when shopify runs npm install in the creation process of the app

peer @shopify/shopify-api@"^9.0.1" from @shopify/[email protected]
npm ERR! node_modules/@shopify/shopify-app-session-storage-prisma
npm ERR!   @shopify/shopify-app-session-storage-prisma@"^2.0.0" from the root project
npm ERR!
