Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe?

Adding a large number of assets can be very time consuming. Especially if you want/require Descriptions and data consistency.

Describe the solution you'd like

The ability to add an asset, or autofill asset fields by looking up barcode information. Bonus: image lookup for reference/placeholder images.

Describe alternatives you've considered

manually searching product info and copy/paste into data fields, downloading online photos.

I guess there are 2 different directions you can take this: using mobile and camera/GLens API to to search for and populate in real-time. Or a 'barcode' field and lookup is done server side. That would allow companies to use this feature without relying on mobile devices.
