This is more of a comment than specific issue. KDE Plasma Bigscreen is a smart TV OS, much like Android TV. Given that your project is intended to console-ify Linux and that actual latest consoles like PS5 incorporate some smart TV features such as video and music streaming apps, I think it's likely you'll eventually get requests to offer something similar. Already you offer running Retrodeck from within OGUI.
Well, Plasma Bigscreen is already focused on that smart TV part, obviously, and even has, aside from launcher and settings, some bigscreen-dedicated apps such as web browser, file manager, media player and some streaming clients.
So tying (and promoting) your two projects closely makes sense to me. It just makes much sense to use powerful machine attached to TV for media too.
One other thing I'd like to mention is theming; I think it would be amazing if we could get few of the theme-makers for Kodi, OGUI, Retrodeck and Plasma Bigscreen (perhaps other some other projects as well) to build a unifying theme. I'd personally opt for something like Arctic Horizon 2 or Arctic Fuse for Kodi to serve as template.
Imagine offering a distro that combines all of that. I think it would be a hit.
