To summarize, I am just looking for Genesis in English, to begin my search to find quality open source English translations of the Torah (and potentially Tanakh or larger books in the future, but Torah is pretty universal). However, it appears not even is the Genesis Sefaria JSON complete or accurate. Can you briefly outline the state of affairs when it comes to English translations in JSON (or other format), particularly with Genesis?
For Genesis in particular, what is the best English translation you have? Are you planning on adding more? If you don't have a quality one, know of a quality open source (free) one online somewhere by chance?
Thank you for all you've done, what an invaluable resource Sefaria is so far!

@lancejpollard can you be more specific about Sefaria's Genesis JSON format not being complete/accurate? Can you give examples? For example, the merged.json appears to me to have full translations for the whole Genesis. Do you mean not to have any Hebrew characters at all in the translations?
Popular English translations were assessed by a bible scholar in the last slide of Bible Translations: Part 17. If I haven't made a copy error, the list is below. The first number in the list goes from 1 to 100, with 1 representing perfect formal (word for word) equivalence and 100 representing perfect dynamic (thought for thought) equivalence. Reading level is in parenthesis. I think they all got a letter grade like in grade school. This is a peripheral comment as these English translations were not observed in the Sefaria-Export folder for Genesis (json format).
