Which disaster risk or issue are you addressing?

Meshtastic can be a valuable tool for tracking rescue teams and assets in emergency situations. By utilizing a real-time positioning system, first responders and equipment like ambulances can be accurately located and redirected to areas where they are most needed. This ensures a more efficient and effective response to critical incidents.

Furthermore, Meshtastic's broadcast messaging capabilities enable teams to communicate vital information quickly and reliably using their mobile devices. This can be crucial for coordinating efforts, sharing updates, and providing essential instructions during emergencies.

Storytelling

Each rescue team leader carries a Meshtastic tracker, automatically updating their position on a central control map. When a distress call is received, the control room identifies the closest teams and broadcasts a mission alert. The Meshtastic tags on the selected teams' devices light up red, silently notifying them of the emergency.

If a team cannot respond, they can quickly press a button on their device, triggering a notification to the next closest team. This streamlined process ensures a rapid and efficient response to critical situations.
