No possibility to add a food entry found with search

Hi, I'm using a Nokia 5 with Android 9.
I wanted to use the food tracker and used the search to find food in the database.
I get a list of foods but when touching the food I want nothing happens, therefore I can't add it.

If you cannot select an item from the list of search results, then the main use case of the app - the tracking function - does not work.

I totally misunderstood the description then, my bad. I thought the OP wanted to create a custom (local) entry pre-populating fields with the data of a result from openfoodfacts.
