Ask for location permissions in two scenarios:

Upon Login/Signup: Ask users permission for the app to use device location. User can Grant(Allow once or while use)/Deny.
Ask for permission to enable location if not already enabled when user chooses to share with a group.

https://pub.dev/packages/permission_handler [In combination with the location package]

https://pub.dev/packages/geolocator [Could also be used for the location itself]
