drop the legend, or maybe keep it with full measure names and annotate the abbreviated names (ALT, ALP, AST, BILI)

I like the idea of directly labeling the lines in the spaghetti plot, but overlapping labels are going to be common and are a bit of a pain to deal with. Here are a few links that might help sort this out: 1, 2 3

Bumping from v1.1, but we can tackle later if there is enough interest to warrant an update.
