This would be really nice. Maybe we can do it with minimal changes from the upstream repository? After that, we can work on merging all their changes. But for Simba 1.0, I just want to work with as little changes as possible.

I think we have FPC 2.6.0 support as of my last commit, but we still need to figure out Lazarus 1.0.x support
