After commit 9406279 ("tcp: defer shutdown(SEND_SHUTDOWN) for TCP_SYN_RECV sockets"), the above causes the child to reach the accept syscall in FIN_WAIT1 status. In Kernel 2.6.39 name transition rules were introduced.
It would be nice to allow them in conditional statements.
(I am unfamiliar to the reason why they are not allowed yet and to any implementation (storage related?) obstacles.)
