Upgrading to IstanbulJS - the new version of Istanbul #125

Are there any plans for upgrading to Istanbul "2.0" in favor of the now deprecated Istanbul "1.0"?

This would solve the issues with old Istanbul breaking on some Node 7/8 code -
#116 #117 . The new library is not in alpha anymore.

A PR welcomed. I'm not personally using Gulp anymore, so I don't really intend to bump the version myself; but I'll gladly merge a PR.
