Not able to generate new applications

I'm trying to generate new fiori elements application in existing CAP project. In first step of the wizard for LIst page application I selected local existing CAP project, however, list of OData services is not being populated. This worked before and I already have already generated many applications in the same project. It is displaying following error message "Compilation of the CAP project has failed. Please see the Application Wizard logs for more details". Can you please tell me how to access the Application Wizard logs?

I am also having this.
It is likely a similar cause to another issue I see. When adding a new service, it is not picked up.

In both cases, I need to completely quite vscode and reopen. Closing the application wizard, or switching around is not enough.
