This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app. ##Inspiration In Africa, millions of students face significant financial barriers to accessing higher education. Traditional education financing systems, including loans and scholarships, often come with high interest rates, lack transparency, or are simply out of reach for many families. This challenge inspired us to create Edufundme—a decentralized platform that offers verifiable, community-driven grants to support African students in achieving their academic dreams, regardless of their financial background.

For Students and Families:

We aim to empower students across Africa, especially those from low-income families, by providing them with a fair and transparent way to access education grants. Edufundme allows students to apply for financial support without the heavy burdens of traditional loans or credit scores. By leveraging blockchain technology, we ensure that every grant is distributed equitably, enabling students to focus on their education rather than financial struggles.

For Donors:

We offer donors the opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of students in Africa.
