Scope of Work

  • Build an integration with the Square Terminal API to enable card-present credit card payments
  • Deploy a live card testing environment that can be used for integration testing with Terminals (not available in sandbox)
  • Purchase a Square Terminal for production use

Open Questions

  • How do we build a Nova UX for this that makes any sense?
  • Do we need to build a separate POS UX?

Additional Context

Square Terminals were selected as the development team's recommended approach for card-present payments due to ease of integration and use. More detailed justification and comparison against alternatives may be found here.
