Hi. I used to use FuncShaper all the time. It's one of the best Waveshapers existing. There's no other plugin that does what it does. Sometimes I miss it. I'm posting this because I loved the FuncShaper so I'm trying to figure out how to bring FuncShaper back.
Sorry if I am harsh I just wanted to be direct. Since you added it to "ToolChain" I never used the FuncShaper again. I find ToolChain painful and something to avoid. It took a simple and useful tool I relied on and made it part of some nested slow cumbersome and buggy sub-UI loader I do not want to ever use. The ToolChain messes up automation support and it's very limited and will never have a purpose or functionality to me since I can chain stuff much better in Bitwig with powerful modulation and so can everyone else in almost every DAW. ToolChain just removes functionality, makes it less modulatable, slower, less accessible, etc. I understand it would be cool if you're wanting to make multi-FX presets for your stuff, but since there's no option to not use the ToolChain it ruined the FuncShaper. FuncShaper is a building block, something I want as an atomic unit in my chains, not as a unit in some other weird limited environment. I don't have any more 32-bit plugins so it's hard to go back to 32-bit just to avoid the ToolChain.
Please consider updating the code to allow building 64-bit versions of your plugins without the ToolChain. Then we could appreciate the ToolChain as a bonus instead of just a hindrance.
Man it would be awesome to have a 64-bit native version of FuncShaper.
