ReadMe.md assumes that Zygisk is enabled and continues on as if it is.
There should be instructions on what to do if this is not the case.

My phone is a non-rooted pixel 6a running stock android:

The features this app offers decrease from root + xposed => root only => non-rooted device,
as described in the ReadMe.md:
https://github.com/Rikj000/Android-Auto-XLauncher-Unlocked#features

Non-rooted devices can only use this app as a shortcut to their Android Auto app,
which is only useful if your Android Auto app is not shown as an app in your OS,
but only available through Settings => Connected devices => Connection Preferences => Android Auto.

To install on a non-rooted device, simply install the .apk from the releases section.
However the usefulness of this app will be very limited.
