After achieving a well-revised state for the documentation in English, translations for data.table should be undertaken.

Related roles

Assuming bilingual efficiency, translating the documentation from English to another language would make one a 'Translator'. Proper understanding of both languages would be crucial, and rewording statements as necessary to make a form of descriptive text more lucid would be helpful.

A separate role (namely, 'Translation Manager') would be assigned to one who communicates with the aforementioned 'Translators' and is actively involved with the translation aspects of data.table.

Fluency in English would be a given, and thus another responsibility I can think of for this role would be to understand and remove existing language barriers when encountered (for instance, as observed when someone posts an issue or pull request and has trouble communicating what he/she wants to convey or ask of in English), apart from documenting potential common barriers (if any).
