Au niveau de l'emplacement, on peut envisager plusieurs positions qui semblent les plus "confortables" pour le coureur:

Devant la poitrine
A l'arrière sous la forme d'un carquois
A l'arrière sous le sac
Je pense qu'il vaut mieux se focaliser sur les bâtons 3 brins, les plus courants.
