Describe the Problem

I find it surprising that when switching maps, the selected topology types change. This is even remembered in the campaign so that reloading it has my previous selections.

Moreover, my selection is remember so that reopening MapTool will keep the latest selection. So the mere act of loading a campaign will affect the tool selection on new MapTool instances.

The Solution you'd like

Within a given MapTool instance, the topology type selector should be left as whatever the user set it to. Switching maps should not affect the selection.

Alternatives that you've considered.

I also find it odd that we hold onto the type selection across restarts, but I can also see how that could serve a purpose. Personally I would prefer if the selection was always Wall VBL + MBL when opening MapTool.
