Source tracking as well as tracing of further transformations should be performed using the model.transform.trace system.

  • Source locations for objects read from recipes
  • Traces for object transformations
    • Feature parsing
    • Project includes
    • Distribution includes
    • Uses of copy-location
    • Maybe instantiation of specification objects
  • Source locations for dependencies discovered via analysis
    • CMake
    • Setuptools
    • ROS packages
    • ASDF
