Text that looks like HTML elements in entry title displays incorrectly in notification and single-entry display

Version: 0.19.4, Linux
Expected: Text beginning with a < and ending with a > in a feed entry's title displays as text wherever the title is shown.
Actual: The text in an entry's title displays as the HTML element itself in the notification and the single-entry display, but as text in the list of entries.
