MDX Kim_vocal_2 seems to mess with 1 click Transcribe batch file

Hi Purfview and everyone

I'm running the XXL version 245.2 and I've experienced a consistent break in the batch recursive function after modifying the included "1 click transcribe".bat file. My modified code as follows:

faster-whisper-xxl.exe %file_list% --print_progress --beep_off --output_dir source --batch_recursive --check_files --ff_mdx_kim2 --model large-v2 --language Japanese --task translate --vad_method pyannote_v3 --vad_min_speech_duration_ms 350 --vad_max_speech_duration_s 4 --vad_min_silence_duration_ms 750

With the '--ff_mdx_kim2' arg, it filters and transcribes/lates 1-2 files, then stops on pause after filtering the third file.
Once i remove the '--ff_mdx_kim2' arg, it runs as expected, completing all selected/dropped files. Currently, I can't get the .bat to complete anymore than two files.

I'm not not very experienced running windows batch commands and at I'm the limit of my own troubleshooting with this. Previously I just transcribed an entire directory via the * wildcard. However, it would be great to use this .bat instead with --ff_mdx_kim2.

Any help and advice would be great!

Hi Qtblox,

First, remove those vad settings as it's nonsense. [keep vad_method]
Remove --print_progress, add -v true, try again same to reproduce the issue, make a screenshot when it "stops on pause".

Okay. Same result. Also, when I hit any key a couple times, nothing happens and then close.

I also reran again on another 4 files with --ff_mdx_kim2 removed from the above quoted code and all 4 files completed.

I just ran the same 4 files again, on a separate batch file, in a separate folder directory just using * wildcard, no recursive. And came across the same issue. With --ff_mdx_kim2, Whisper won't continue to run after filtering the third file. Once I remove the arg, it processes the entire directory fine.

Could that be an issue with my system/installation or something internal to the program?

According to the --help, Preloading the language model interferes with '--ff_mdx_kim2' model and is usually disabled by default if it or diarize_only is called.
