I've searched existing issues and couldn't find a duplicate.

Pumpkin 0.1.0-dev (73d3fe0)

What happened?

I broke a stone block with my fists and it dropped, and was placed into the top left of my inventory instead of the first open inventory slot.

To Reproduce

Pickup any item.

Expected behavior

It should have been placed in my first available hotbar slot instead of my first available inventory slot.
