rejoining the server only back ups commands in the chat

I've searched existing issues and couldn't find a duplicate.

What happened?

when you write something in the chat and you rejoin to the server, only the commands you wrote are accessable with arrow up, but then without a limit.

To Reproduce

Type Hi
Type /help
rejoin
press arrow up 2 times

Expected behavior

non command text should be stored as well
