As mentioned on the Discord, Discussions serve to separate the community to better suit their respective needs. Issues act more suited for maintainers while Discussions are designed for helping the users of Mineflayer. I think this might be a nicer way to develop the community for less technical users while keeping the Issues area cleaner and on topic specifically for development and discussions between maintainers. |
