How much have you considered your core/key values?

I find it helpful to take time to consider and periodically revisit my core values. It's important to me to stay aligned with my values as an individual and for my business and professional work to reflect those values.

Today, right now, I'm going to take a moment to think of my top three key values.

Diversity with Belonging

I want to associate myself with a diverse group of friends and colleagues. I don't believe in diversity just for the numbers' sake. It's not a benefit to be diverse if some of us are marginalized and miserable.

Honesty, Openness, and Transparency

I prefer that people are honest and direct with me. I aim to hold myself to the same standard

When it matters, stay in your lane

I aim to work where I work best and collaborate with folks who are great in ways I'm not.
