Add support for gists #60
Comments
@Dec0y-jb Hey Joe, Thanks for reaching out and raising this. This is a known issue that's in the queue to be addressed on the server side, specifically with the parser. There is some complexity with this due to the format and nature of snippets but it is something we are looking to prioritize. I passed this on to the support team as well. |
Thanks @collectedmind . Looking forward to this in a future release. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Keep up the great work! |

@Dec0y-jb any news here? Pocket is hard to use for developers with gists missing in converted articles. :( I'd definitely consider a Pro subscription if this was fixed. |
@ubuntudroid - it's been years since I submitted this and I haven't seen any movement unfortunately. |
This is currently a blocker for my using Pocket, really disappointing this hasn't been worked on for so long |
Expected Behavior
If I save an article that has embedded gists, I would expect the code snippets to show up in the pocket version of the article.
Actual Behavior
Gists are excluded from the article.
Steps to Reproduce the Problem
Find an article that contains an embedded gists (most dev articles)
Save the article to Pocket
Open article in Pocket, notice missing gists
