The only time I was interested in editing preferences was on install. After that 100% of my use use case has been "Close all". I would like you to consider changing the UX so the primary usage case of "Close all" executed when you click on the icon, and that secondary use case is accessed via about:addons or right click on icon then Manage Extension then click ... click Preferences

The hotkey is difficult to use on my keyboard (Kinesis Advantage 2:left ring finger on s, right thumb on alt which is stretch, and right pinky on shift).

I assume there is a use case for the existing behavior so this will be "rejected" in which case please consider adding a tooltip on the "Close all" button which is otherwise only discoverable in about:addons Details, and a configurable hot key.
