BUG: Adding link on entire List item instead of only text

What happened?

When hover over the navbar items, nothing is happening when you try to click on it because the link is applied only to the text instead of the entire item.

Link is active only when you click on the text, not when you click anywhere else in the orange boundary created while hover, this affects the user experience.

Please assign me this issue under Girlscript Summer of Code 2024
