We need to decide on dates and venue. These things tend to go together so they're one issue rather than two. Other Scala/FP conferences scheduled for early 2016 are:

  • ComposeConf (NYC, Feb 4-5)
  • NEScala + Typelevel (Philly, March 2-5)
  • Flatmap (Oslo, May 2-3)
  • LambdaConf (Boulder, May 23-27)

Scala Days Berlin June 15 - 17

Considerations:

  • parking & transit
  • seating, tables, etc.
  • wifi & network access
  • food/drink vendors
  • nearby facilities (bars, restaurants, etc.)
  • hotels
  • physical layout (size >2500sq ft)
  • AV projector, screen, sound
