if the application is enabled security with a self-signed cerifiicate, users can access the https://localhost:9443/... urls.

But, when run Launch application with providing the port 8443, the https://accountname-9443.theiadocker-0.proxy.cognitiveclass.ai/... not work.

This problem need SN team to help

  • the app uses self-signed certificate, either SN accept it or provide us a valid certificate in the env so that the app can use
  • SN can aware the port 9443 or any port is using https protocol. When SN redirect/forward urls to localhost, keep using https protocol consistently. Otherwise, if the redirection mixed with https and https, it will break the liberty web container.
  • an alternative, can SN launch application provide 2 different protocols, an option for users to choice?
