Background

A partner implementer has an upcoming project where their developers will want to use the MailChimp adaptor. They're paying us to update our existing adaptor and to add a couple of new helper functions. This will enable them to build a workflow where they can (1) get contacts from Salesforce, and then (2) create/update members in MailChimp and add tags based on the salesforce data.

Request

  1. Update the adaptor to use the latest adaptor template & best practices
  2. Add helper functions so that the following end-points can be used by the job developer:

To test

  • config: See LP OpenFn MailChimp
  • data: Feel free to create fake member contacts using your email or fake emails (e.g., [email protected]) to add to the list 486529` for testing
  • For testing the tags, you can use tags like test, test1

@mtuchi please get started on this today, and consult with taylor/joe on the best way to design this adaptor.

Let me and @daissatou2 know if you need help with example use cases or understanding how MailChimp works.
